About Andrew H. Moser
Andy is CEO, managing partner of direct lending strategies at Scargo Hill Capital, where he is primarily responsible for the overall development and execution of corporate direct lending strategies, business development, leadership and the safeguard of all assets under management. As a Commercial Finance and Retail industry veteran, Andy is recognized by many in the industry as a subject matter expert and lauded by his peers for his contributions and creativity in asset-based lending for more than 25 years.
Andy has held numerous senior executive positions at leading financial institutions and alternative asset managers. He began his career after working in retail finance and co-founded Gordon Brothers Finance Company, Inc. (a division of Gordon Brothers), one of the first and premier asset-based lenders to the retail industry.
An active member of multiple professional organizations and admired industry leader, Andy is known for building exceptional teams; fostering a passionate and driven corporate culture; and encouraging a noteworthy commitment toward community, charitable giving and mentorship. In 2014, Andy was honored with the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year™ Award for the Financial Services category in the New England Region. He is also frequently asked to speak at colleges and universities about commercial finance, macro retail trends, and entrepreneurship.
Andy’s passions include his family, sports and mentoring young professionals. He is involved with several entrepreneurship programs and is incredibly devoted to his community and various charitable causes. In 2016, Andy co-founded the SLC Pay it Forward Corporation to honor the memory of Stewart L. Cohen, his friend and mentor of 25 years. Andy was appointed that same year to the Advisory Board of Let’s All Do Good, a mobile platform that enables people to be actively engaged with their cause or community.
